About us
A product
with one job.
WebAssure5 is a product of Wellborn Internet Solutions (WISS). It does one thing: it puts a small business online and keeps it there for five years on a single payment. This page is why the product exists and what it was built to fix.
The failure is almost never the launch. It is the year after it.
Most business sites die in year two, and not of design.
A business pays for a website, and for a few months everything is fine. Then the renewals start arriving. A domain notice lands in an inbox nobody checks. The developer who built it has moved on to other work and answers slower each time. Nothing breaks loudly, so nothing gets fixed, and one morning the address is dark with the business still trading behind it.
WebAssure5 was built around that second year rather than around the launch. The whole term is settled in one payment, so there is no renewal to miss, nobody to chase for a small fix, and no month where somebody has to decide whether the site is worth paying for again.
Five failures, and the whole product is an answer to them.
-
The renewal nobody seesDomain and hosting notices arrive once a year, in an inbox that is not the one being read. A site worth hundreds of thousands goes dark over a bill of a few thousand naira.Answered byOne payment, once
-
The developer who went quietA price change waits three weeks for a reply, so eventually nobody bothers asking, and the site slowly stops matching the business it belongs to.Answered byA free change every month
-
The price you cannot getA quote takes a call, a meeting and a proposal, and still arrives as a range. Nobody can budget against a range.Answered byThe price, published
-
The site nobody can moveBuilt on a platform with a monthly fee, or with the domain registered in somebody else’s name, so leaving costs more than staying.Answered byYour name on the domain
-
The site that ages in placeWhat looked current three years ago now makes a working business look closed. Nobody budgets for a redraw, so it never happens.Answered byThe year three redraw
Nothing in the right hand column is a feature we added afterwards. Each one exists because of the line beside it, which is why the offer is shaped the way it is rather than the way a package usually is.
One payment, then five quiet years.
- MissionTo put serious local businesses, in Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa, online at a price they can pay once, and to keep that site working, current and owned by them for the whole term.
- VisionA market where a business site outlives whoever built it, where nobody loses their address to a notice they never saw, and where the cost of being findable is known before anyone asks for a meeting.
Each of these is a decision, not an oversight.
- We do not photograph your businessYou send up to ten pictures, or we choose stock for your line of work. Both sit inside the price.
- We do not claim your Google listing for youYou get a written guide to claiming it and gathering reviews. We will not stand between you and your own listing.
- We do not telephone youThe specification is confirmed in writing, so you have something to scroll back to and no diary has to be opened.
- We do not hold your domainIt is registered in your name on day one and the transfer code is yours whenever you ask for it.
- We do not lock you inThe site is built on open standards, so any developer can pick it up and carry it anywhere. No platform to escape, no licence to buy.
The list is short because the offer is. Turning down work that does not fit is what keeps the promise cheap enough to keep for sixty months, and a promise nobody can afford to keep is worth nothing on the day it is called in.
Enough reading. Get found, and stay found.
The brief takes about eight minutes and costs nothing. Nothing is sent anywhere until you pay, so you can fill it in purely to see what your own site would come to.
